Two world-renowned naval architects, Philippe Briand (for the interior and hull design) and Vittorio Garroni (for the exterior design), have partnered with the Jeanneau Design team and contributed their considerable talents to create the elegant Sun Odyssey 45 DS. This brand new addition to the Sun Odyssey line features a fresh, innovative interior design while conserving the hallmark of a Jeanneau: refinement in every detail.
Light
Featuring unmatched volume and natural lighting, the interior design heralds an all-new series of Sun Odyssey DS sailboats. Light floods the saloon, where a raised coachroof design with wrap-around windows and enlarged hull ports creates a bright, airy atmosphere. Fluid lines frame spectacular views of the horizon from every vantage point.
Jeanneau savoir-faire
The well-appointed interior features a pleasing visual contrast between smooth, white surfaces and the warmth of solid wood and Fine Teak®. Taking center stage are the quality craftsmanship and fine woodwork that have become synonymous with Jeanneau.
A sailor's touch
This new model is designed in the seafaring tradition of Jeanneau sailboats, fitted with numerous handrails, furnishings crafted with rounded edges, and a companionway created using weatherproof materials for durability and easy upkeep. Entirely conceptualized using CATIA® computer-aided design software, the Sun Odyssey 45 DS boasts many clever advantages and an outstanding performance on the water. Offered in versions with 2 cabins and 2 head compartments or 3 cabins and 2 head compartments, she was presented in a premier showing at all Autumn Boat Shows in Europe, as well as in Annapolis, MD.
