This exciting model follows in the footsteps of its predecessors, the 49DS and 54DS and features the same modern styling that has made Jeanneau the number one name in deck salons throughout the world. Designed by Vittorio Garroni in collaboration with naval architect Marc Lombard, the 42DS features an ultra modern hull, providing exceptional speed while under sail or power. Other noteworthy features include: Twin steering wheels for easy manuevering and comfort in the cockpit Long Harken roof-mounted mainsheet track, Harken self-tailing winches and large cockpit table with plenty of room to accommodate the Raymarine C70 or E70 Chartplotter. Molded table base providing both height and ventilation to the aft cabin below. Conveniently placed genoa winches mounted within easy reach of the helm stations. Below decks, the raised cabin sole has deliberately been kept low in order to make full use of the space under the side decks.
